I can’t say that I have done much in the way of blogging before. Ironically enough I am going to have to do it for English class in the next week. But after reading some I admit to wanting to join the trend. And as this is bowlspace, what else is there to talk about then bowling.
It was my third season on the team this year. I won’t get into every little detail, but I have a couple things that I want to say.
I don’t know how many times it was said already but I’m going to say it again; this team was the best we’ve ever had. That was obvious the first day of practice. It seemed that most of the problems with previous teams were gone; this team just seemed to click on and off the lanes. And although we might not have had the record we hoped for, we had a hell of a lot of fun, and yes we had some moments that we hope never happen again.
Accomplishments: finishing a record high 4th place
at Morgan Park and at Brother Rice, making the trip down to
Coach. What more is there to say? I know I would still be averaging 100 without him, and I’m pretty sure that goes for a lot of other guys too. What kind of a team would we have without him? Would we even have a team?
Catholic league this year was interesting to say the least. We had those days where we were on top and no one could bring us down, we had those days where we struggled but came out a point on top, and we had those days where we just got fucked. I don’t feel like going into details. If you really want to know, ask me another time.
And I think this is a good place to end the story for now.
Next episode: The lead up to glory, maybe.
